Delighted to have been invited to speak at the COVID-19 Thailand Conference. Around 1000 people attended.
The talk focussed on how the reality of the pandemic took hold. How the UK managed to bring the infection under control. The geographical difference between Scotland and England were highlighted. How this may have impacted the current infection rates. Innovations being developed to try and adapt Orthopaedic Surgery for COVID times were discussed. The talk finished by discussing how technology has brought the world closer together at a time where we are all being told to be further apart.
