Restart of Elective Surgery at NHS Golden Jubilee – July 2020

Covid saw a halt to all elective surgery on the 18th March at NHS Golden Jubilee.

During that down time I was delighted to work with colleagues and management to discuss and devise pathways which could allow a safe restart. We opted for a safe and gradual restart focussing first on daycase surgery in smaller numbers to check the pathways before commencing Arthroplasty once more.

My Colleague Mr Jon Clarke and I enjoying being able to get patients on the road to recovery once more!
