At medical school it always struck me what a difference it made having a well written book that made sense to a medical student or having a teacher who could engage with the group they were teaching. I have since always aimed to achieve this with the medical students I teach and the books/chapters I write. I couldn’t be happier to have published this work with the Unofficial Gude to Medicine and Zeshan Qureshi. The series does exactly that. Much of the content has been written or reviewed by medical students and junior doctors to keep it as relevant and useful as possible.
